Keyboard and mouse

Post  black-f3ver on Thu 10 Jul 2008, 12:44 am

You can buy ( or use a spare ) key board and/or mouse and attach through your USB drives in your ps3. Im not sure if you have to register it ( altho im pretty sure ) , Im gonna plug in my old computer keyboard to see if it works because I dont really need a mouse when i have the analog stick. Although, the downside of using your USB plug-in keyboards is that the cable isnt that long ( since they are designed for being right next to computers) ,but you can buy 5-25+ USB extension cords for a fairly reasonable price.

Even though this may be more costly you can buy a Blutooth ( wireless ) keyboard for your ps3 so, you can use it anywhere. However, this about $50-60 (U.S.) pale compared to the USB key board $20 (U.S.) and USB extension $10 (U.S.) santa

This keyboards would definitly help when you get those messages in-game and you spend a good 2 minutes replying wit the on-screen keyboard. Faster you type the faster you get back to playing.

So, its up to you to spend more money on a blutooth one or alot less on a USB one farao or if you JUST DONT CARE and are fine with the poopy little on-screen keyboard.

i have myself a wireless keyboard and mouse that has a little usb hub that they plug into!

it all works fine, but ive only ever wanted to use it if im typing out long messages to people on my PS3.
im not a PC gamer and find the control pad to be way more effective when i wanna shoot someone in the chops! Smile

saying that though the keyboard and mouse only cost me like 10
and it likes to type letters out 4 times in a row lol

besides, when you get everyone to join up to the clan you can chat to them all on here Razz
